I have not needed to use the heating function and the time I experimented with it I could not really detect much difference, but the hoodie itself is VERY warm and perfect for wearing when I'm working in my poorly heated garden room. I just have to remember to take it off if I have to answer a video call. Fits very comfy (I'm a size 16-18 and there's plenty of room) and the cuffs on the sleeves keep it from getting in the way when I'm using my keyboard.
